Doorstep Portraits to raise money for food banks.

I'm no Marcus Rashford, but wanted to lend my skills to raise money for families facing food poverty during the COVID19 pandemic. So at the beginning of May I began to offer doorstep portraits for a £15 donation to my chosen charity, North Enfield Food Bank ( a local charity that is seeded to the The Trussell Trust). I managed to raise £790, as a result of the generosity of all who took part. Here is a photo gallery from this project

Black Lives Matter

Protesters March from 'Speaker's Corner, Hyde Park to Parliament Square to protest the murder of George Floyd in America and systemic racism within the UK. Take a look at the featured video of John Boyega's impassioned call for change in UK and beyond.

I was struck by the diversity of the protestors. It felt like a throwback to the civil rights movement of the 1960s. For this reason my image gallery is shown exclusively in black and white.

Video interview with Documentary Award Winner, Jessica Bird, at the very first FIDA awards ceremony and after party.

Photography of the event and after party, held at one of London's most prestigious boutique hotels, Blakes Hotel, South Kensington.

The event was a tremendous success and momentum is building for the 2020/21 award ceremony to be held in September 2020.
